A personal trainer is revealing her secret to getting her six-pack back just weeks after giving birth.
And now the mom-of-two boys, Kenzie, 4, and newborn Leo, is practicing what she preaches, shrinking into shape with only a minimal amount of exercise, crediting breathing exercises instead.
Flat out: Celebrity personal trainer Nancy Anderson, 32, from Orange County, California, is revealing how she is getting back in shape after giving birth, pictured her 14 days postpartum
No rush: Nancy (pictured left on November 10th and right on November 16, four days postpartum) has not started exercising yet and says she’s in no rush to get her body back
Breathing space: Nancy says she has been focusing on ab rehabilitation and breathing exercises since giving birth to baby Leo on November 12th
Nancy gave birth to her second son, Leo, on November 12th via Cesarean section and two weeks postpartum revealed how her stomach looked so flat so soon.
Posting a photo of her 14 day postpartum body to Instagram, she captioned the shot with, ‘I have 7 lbs to lose to get to pre baby weight, a bit of muscle mass to regain and some cellulite to ditch. I’m still sore from my c-section but am feeling much better than I was last week. I can now sneeze and cough without wanting to die’.
She added that to get things underway, she was focusing on her nutrition and doing basic ab rehabilitation exercises while breastfeeding, but also credited her husband with allowing her to get ‘as much sleep as possible’ by taking half the ‘night shift’.
Going into more details about what ab rehabilitation entails, Nancy shared that because the diaphragm weakens throughout pregnancy and can become deactivated, new moms need to re-engage and re-strengthen to re-activate and learn how to breathe properly again as the foundation for rebuilding fitness.
However she did admit that she was in no ‘rush to get my “body back”‘, and revealed that she is also undergoing physical therapy and tissue work to help reduce the swelling around her s-section ‘pouch’.
A firm believer that all new moms can transform their flab to abs if they put their minds to it, Nancy worked out throughout her pregnancy and doesn’t advocate ‘eating for two’, sharing with Dailymail.com that controlling weight during pregnancy is essential if women don’t want to gain a lot of weight.

She credits the pregnancy nutrition program she has devised along with a gluten and dairy free diet with helping her keep weight gain to a minimum during both pregnancies.
‘Pregnancy cravings are usually unhealthy food cravings and isn’t always your body’s way of telling you that you ‘need’ something that you may be lacking. For example, if your body is craving a steak, then maybe there is something to that. Maybe you need the iron or protein. If you’re craving something like Cheetos or gummy bears though? Maybe not so much.’
She also follows her own 30 Day Slim Down plan, a fat-burning meal guide that lays out your exact breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner.
The fitness fanatic who is a trainer at Barry’s Bootcamp in Irvine, CA, says she was inspired to create a pregnancy program over a decade ago when her clients started getting pregnant.
‘I studied pre and post natal exercise in my Master’s program and I found it the research about the power of fitness during pregnancy fascinating. I became consumed with learning it and implementing it with my clients’ pregnancy journeys as well as my own,’ she says.
